This is NPR news Traffic was disrupted on Rockaway blvd. this morning as an altercation between a respected businessman and an unknown assailant spilled out into the street. The unidentified man who appeared to be mentally deranged accosted Mr. P.J. Wentworth when he allegedly “stepped on a crack thereby breaking his mother’s back”.
The altercation became violent when the man attempted to forcefully move Mr. Wentworth to a more secure part of the sidewalk but instead made him step on a banana peel and stumble into the path of an oncoming metro bus whose driver promptly chastised him for almost making him spend the better part of the day filling out paperwork.
Police report the assailant as a black man at least seven feet tall with dreadlocks though eye-witness accounts describe him as a five and a half foot tall albino with a buzz cut. Any additional information concerning the identity of the assailant would be greatly appreciated.
