Born in 1982, Mike Celona is an American video artist and photographer who ever since the age of 5 when he began playing with camcorders has been interested in exploring the possibilities of media beyond it's traditional forms. His experimental work generally deals with the interplay between technology and nature as well as the effects of media messages on our collective psyche. In 2005 he graduated from Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts and in addition to his personal projects works as a film editor for Maslin Digital in Rochester, NY.
